Now, nearing the end of the module, I feel that this module has helped to improve my report writing skills, such as using proper citations and how to make full use of GAI to help me in my writing. Thanks to the constructive feedback from my professor and peers, I was able to tweak my writing as needed in order to enhance the clarity and effectiveness in conveying a message. This has taught me to take feedback more seriously, as it is a great learning opportunity. During the project, I learned to collaborate with others, discussing ideas, splitting tasks and providing feedback. This has helped me improve my interpersonal skills. Furthermore, the feedback during the mock oral presentation was really useful in improving my verbal communication skills. It made me realise that the most important part of a good presentation is not how much cont

Contributions to the reserch project

I contributed to the background research for the introduction of the technical report, such as: The main problems warehouses are facing. -Inaccurate inventory -Suboptimal picking -High labor costs The current situation of warehouses and the importance of embracing technology (automation and robotics) in order to solve the issues. Commonly used devices in a warehouse. -Conveyors (automated) -Lifting Equipment (automated) -Organizational Tools (manual) Finally linking everything back to the purpose of the report by stating, "Despite the importance of a barcode reader in a warehouse, there is very little r&d of such attachments for robotic arms in order to automate the process and bluh bluh bluh…"

Initial Research Pathway (Description of Creaform Inc. Peel 3.CAD)

Research Pathway of Celeste and Faiz on Creaform Inc. Peel 3.CAD(3D scanner) Faiz was looking for a 3d scanner The team researched and gather facts and figures from other supporting websites.(https://peel-3d.com/products/peel-3-cad/), (https://center3dprint.com/3d-scanner-peel-3-cad) The team watched a youtube video to better visualise and understand the system and how it works (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AH6QemqRUcg) The team noted down the various features and functions of the system in a google docs. The team then compiled the research and write the summary
